Cloudy pools may be the result of (check with customer): Dead algae.
- It could be related to insufficient or inadequate filtration.
- A high pH can also contribute towards having a cloudy pool.
- Check running time of pump (12 hours/day in summer)
- Ensure that the filter is operating efficiently and that the cause of the problem is not as a result of dirty filter sand.
- If needed, clean the sand with Filter Cleanse.
- Clean the weir and pump baskets and Backwash the filter.
- Balance the pH to between 7.2 and 7.6.
- Add 500ml NEW Aqua Dazzle for every 25,000 litres of pool water, for cloudy water where the bottom is still visible.
- Run the pump for at least 12 hours. It would be advantageous to do a once-off 24-hour run.
