• For the best result ensure that the pH of the water is between 7.2 and 7.6.
• INITIAL DOSAGE: Oxidise/shock treat the pool.
• SHOCK TREATMENT: For optimal water quality, the pool water should be oxidised/shock treated every fortnight, or as required. Shock treatment is also required when there are heavy bather loads, thunderstorms, evidence of algae, or poor water quality. Test the chlorine levels after 4 hours. Repeat this dosage until you reach a chlorine level of 1 – 3 ppm. Do not enter pool until chlorine residual dissipates to 4 ppm or less.
Maintenance Dosage: (use only as directed)
Buddy floater should last for approximately 4 – 5 weeks. Adjust base dial to maintain a chlorine residual of 1 – 3 ppm. The amount of chlorine needed, and the frequency of dosage varies according to individual pool conditions. Run the pump for at least 12 hours per day in summer.
