Calcium hardness control in swimming pool water is an integral part of achieving water balance. Low calcium hardness levels in pool water can cause the water to be corrosive and can result in etching and staining of pool surfaces. Plaster pools can suffer etching, resulting in rough areas that permit easy algae growth.
Ideal TA range:
• Plaster, concrete, tiled pools (200-275ppm)
• Fiberglass, vinyl, painted pools (175-225ppm)
Dosage: (use only as directed)
• Add 140 g Aqua Balance 3 per 10,000 L of pool water to raise the calcium level by 10ppm.
• Regular testing at a Waterwell retailer will ensure that you receive accurate dosage advice to maintain correct water balance. Do not exceed dosage rates.
